Yesterday we visited the Pineview garden with Mr. Peetz (our assistant principal).  We had SO MUCH FUN exploring and taste testing the veggies.  We even had apple and pear slices from the "orchard" for snack!

On Monday during our writing lesson we practiced drawing people the "kindergarten way".  Addison was our model and we drew her with detail.  (This will give us practice drawing characters for our stories.  We also talk about character details during story time...what they're wearing, their hair color, etc.) After the lesson, everyone found a writing spot to tell a story.

It's Fall in kindergarten!  Today we collected and graphed leaves, and had our apple tasting party.  All the treats were a hit (especially the apples with caramel :)

Our room smelled sooooo good today...we made applesauce!  The recipe is in your child's folder if you want to try it at home. Yummers :)
