Every day after breakfast, we meet on the carpet for our "Morning Message".  This is a great time to build community in the classroom (we work together to complete the chart, or answer questions with our "elbow partners"), and to reinforce specific skills that we need practice on.

Then, we move on to "Readers Workshop".   During this time we work on strategies to help us be great readers!  We end the lesson with reading practice....in the pictures we're using "reading fingers" to help us remember to read each word on the page (left to right and top to bottom).

We've also been having fun with our apples!  Yesterday, we made a HUGE graph to see what colors everyone brought....
